in the fields of education and environmental awareness. While our
programs target the coastal and maritime peoples of Komodo, Flores
and Nusa Tenggara, we hope our efforts will make a difference for
all peoples of the Indonesian archipelago.
Our vision is
to increase awareness and to promote responsible action regarding
the natural environment of Nusa Tenggara. Through education and
affirmative action we hope to foster real change in attitudes and
the livelihoods of the peoples of Nusa Tenggara.
Our mission
is to work through informal environmental education in schools,
communities and economic groupings to foster awareness and concern
about the environment. Our mission is to make conservation a part
of everyday life, and to instill in all peoples the following ideal:
Environment
is first &. there is no second.
